As I think over this past year, I can’t help but SMILE. I was able to attain a goal I had set “in my mind” at the beginning of 2010. I managed to get thru 2010 with NO MAJOR MEDICAL procedures! This is the first in 5 years. It’s hard to articulate the JOY and sense of accomplishment I currently feel. I am HOPEFUL I can continue on this path!
Oncology GYN Appt – Dec 2010
I met with Dr. Guintoli for our annual visit. All continues to be well from this perspective! I appreciate his sense of humor, always.
Follow-up Test Results – Nov 2010
Yesterday I spent most of the day at Johns Hopkins going thru my 6-month follow-up testing. I had bloodwork, CT scan w/contrast of my chest, abdomen & pelvis and an ultrasound of my thigh. I then met with Dr. Weber. (I have changed to one Dr/one set of appts, all the same day.) I received the call this afternoon that all the tests came back negative & within normal ranges! All is well & I am so thankful!

Oncology GYN Appt – Dec 2009
My last appt for the year was with Dr. Guintoli in December. All is well. He wants me to see my regular GYN in 6 months & then come back to him 6 months after that. This will go on for 5 years. At first, I thought he was kidding me but I was wrong.
When he walked into my appt, his remarks were, “they are still talking about you in the halls. They have told me again to take good care of you. They really like you, Lisa.” I was embarrassed & said, “I know, they are protective of me.” (Referring to my Team of Sarcoma Dr’s)
