Paul Cohen

Paul Cohen
Paul Cohen

I met Paul Cohen at the first Sarcoma Event planning meeting.  He too had a sarcoma in his leg.  Unfortunately, he lost his leg.  However, he gets around very well on his prosthesis.  I ‘admire’ his beautiful leg!  He will soon be a “demo dummy” (as he puts it) for kids trying to make a prosthesis like his with LEGO’s.  I can’t wait to hear the stories surrounding this adventure!

Luca finishing the walk!
Luca finishing the walk!

Luca (who is just 3) has been battling rhabdomyosarcoma. He just finished treatment 3 months ago. I met him last year at my first Sarcoma event when he was getting ready to start radiation. Luca’s Mom, Lucia, left a major impression on me. We discussed radiation treatment & how it would for him. I was Happy to fill her in on radiation realities.  For more information on Luca, go to www.loveforluca.org.
