Since Dr Weber & Dr Frassica were/are MAJOR players in my cancer journey, I thought it only appropriate to make them official members of THE TEAM!
They are IN!

I met Paul Cohen at the first Sarcoma Event planning meeting. He too had a sarcoma in his leg. Unfortunately, he lost his leg. However, he gets around very well on his prosthesis. I ‘admire’ his beautiful leg! He will soon be a “demo dummy” (as he puts it) for kids trying to make a prosthesis like his with LEGO’s. I can’t wait to hear the stories surrounding this adventure!
Luca (who is just 3) has been battling rhabdomyosarcoma. He just finished treatment 3 months ago. I met him last year at my first Sarcoma event when he was getting ready to start radiation. Luca’s Mom, Lucia, left a major impression on me. We discussed radiation treatment & how it would for him. I was Happy to fill her in on radiation realities. For more information on Luca, go to www.loveforluca.org.
Tag had a sarcoma in the web of his hand. He has been cancer free for 2 years, 4 months. He has four siblings. I met his Dad at a Sarcoma Bike/Walk planning meeting this year.
Thousands of people around the world wear these bracelets as a sign of support and solidarity. The background color of the bracelet is a swirl of a pathology slide of a sarcoma patient. The bracelet is reversible. “Sarcoma Knows No Borders” is printed on one side, and the word “sarcoma” is printed in 13 languages on the other side.
The significance of “Sarcoma Knows No Borders” is described by the Liddy Shriver Sarcoma Initiative:
